How can I change my password using NoMAD?

ILT have deployed a software package called Nomad  which allows you to quickly and easily change your password whilst on campus. You will find this icon – a triangle with a green tick – in your Mac’s menu bar. If it does not appear, please restart your computer while at the school.

If you need assistance with changing your password please email techcentre@scotch.wa.edu.au 

  1. Click theicon in your toolbar at the top right of the screen

  2. Select Change Password from the menu options

  3. Enter your Current Password then your New Password in the required fields and then Verify the password.

    1. Password requirements mean your password MUST contain at least 8 Characters, an Upper Case letter and at least One Number.

    2. Please DO NOT write your password down.

  4. Once you have entered your password into the fields and the password meets the Complexity Requirements select Change Password. 
    You WILL NOT be required to restart your computer.

  5. Your password should now be changed.

  6. If you have saved your password in any internet browser - you will need to update as you login to the site. e.g. SEQTA

  7. You must do this at school.

    1. Some programs will require you to re-enter your new password such as Outlook login, TA/SEQTA Login Synergetic Login
      Remote Desktop will require you to manually change your password.
